Race Details

The 2025 race will take place on 14th September at 9.30 am.

The Chippenham Half Marathon is 13.1 miles run over a fast, accurately measured and predominantly flat course starting and finishing at our club base Chippenham Sports Club. The route will go through the centre of Chippenham and then follow scenic country lanes visiting local villages and hamlets including Tytherton Lucas, East Tytherton, Avon and Langley Burrell. This event is ideal for first timers or experienced long distance runners looking to achieve a personal best. Full course details can be found here.  The course has been measured and certified as accurate by an accredited course measurer.

There is easy access to the race event base at Chippenham Sports Club by road (5-10 minutes from Junction 17 on the M4) and there is ample off-road parking within a couple of minutes walk of the changing area, baggage store and start.  Alternatively Chippenham train and bus stations are just a ten minute walk away. Full details can be found here.
