Travel

Chippenham is just 4 miles south of the M4 motorway and is easily accessible from London, Bristol and South Wales. The A4 coach road from London to Bristol via Bath provides an alternative route as does the A420 and B4069.

The main line rail route from London Paddington to the West Country stops at Chippenham with at least hourly trains in both directions.

National Coach services connect at Chippenham to London, Wales the South West, Midlands and East Anglia. Bus services to and from Bath, Calne, Devizes, Trowbridge and Swindon are also available. Cross town mini bus services plus additional local services linking neighbouring villages to the town are provided by a number of private operators

From the M4 Exit at Junction 17 and head to Chippenham along the A429 dual carriageway. Continue straight over the roundabout heading into Chippenham.Turn right at the next set of traffic lights into Hardenhuish Lane. After approximately half a mile turn left into the Sheldon School campus where the car parks are situated.

From the South A350 When you enter the Chippenham bypass on the A350 continue heading north and follow the signs for the M4. Exit the bypass at the A420 roundabout heading into Chippenham. After approximately half a mile turn left at the mini roundabouts into Hardenhuish Lane. Turn right into Sheldon School campus where the car parks are situated.

From the West A4 From the A4 turn left at the A350 Chippenham bypass (Sainsburys roundabout). Turn right at the A420 roundabout heading into Chippenham. After approximately half a mile turn left at the mini-roundabouts into Hardenhuish Lane. Turn right into Sheldon School campus where the car parks are situated.

From the A420 When you meet the A350 Chippenham bypass roundabout go straight over heading into Chippenham. After approximately half a mile turn left at the mini-roundabouts into Hardenhuish Lane. Turn right into Sheldon School campus where the car parks are situated.

From the East A4 From the outskirts of town go left at the roundabout onto the Pewsham bypass (Note The London Road into Chippenham at this point will be officially closed prior to the race start). Follow the bypass until you reach Avenue La Fleche. Turn left at roundabout, over the river and keep left at the next traffic lights. Follow the signs to Bath until you meet the A350 Chippenham bypass. Turn right onto the bypass and follow the signs for the M4. Turn right at the A420 roundabout heading into Chippenham. After approximately half a mile turn left at the mini-roundabouts into Hardenhuish Lane. Turn right into Sheldon School campus where the car parks are situated.

Parking

The main car park will be on the Sheldon School campus which will open at 7:15am. Please ensure that you park as directed by the marshalls.

Please note that there will be no parking on the Bristol Road during the race.
